• The inaugural New Zealand Weddings Magazine Bridal Collection show featuring Anna Schimmel, Crane Brothers, Jane Yeh, Kate Dowman, Louise Anderson, Modes, John Zimmerman and Vinka Brides.

• The crowds love the IBM Designer Selection Show so four shows will be staged at Fashion Weekend.

• The New Zealand Herald Designer Garage Sale will be in full force with designers flocking to be involved again and an even bigger space than last year. • Also during Fashion Weekend, we have a great line-up of seminars and speakers planned, including Australasian fashion commentator Mitchell Oakley Smith, the Skin Institute, Inika Cosmetics, Servilles Hair, Dr Catherine Stone (Face Place), Kristen Stewart School of Makeup, Phoenix Cosmetics and styling tips from Signature Style. A line-up of well-known and up-and-coming bands, including Sola Rosa, Radio Glo and Ruby Frost, will keep you entertained on Friday night and throughout Saturday.

Learn the tricks of the trade at the ABSOLUT cocktail classes on Saturday afternoon. ABSOLUT bartenders will teach you to make ABSOLUT designer cocktails inspired by leading New Zealand designers, Adrian Hailwood, Lonely Hearts and Federation.

Sit back, relax and enjoy sipping a refreshing ABSOLUT cocktail while watching the highlights from week’s designer catwalk shows on the big screen.
