Charlie Brown

The Charlie Brown Spring Summer 2013 collection sees an explosion of bold colour, striking prints, signature animal print and sleek silhouettes – a clash that is not so much rock and roll but a stylistic combination of contrasts. A collection that is a collaboration of influences of fashion favourites sees Charlie Brown harking back to the on trend era of the 1990’s.

Paisley prints in soft and floaty fabrics contrast against the chunky black and white stripe of the knee length straight denim skirt and the black skinny fit jean with knee patch embroidery. A collection resplendent with colour, versatility of styling and shapes sees Charlie Brown move into a new era of style.
Moving from the traditional campaigns into the online era in one swift move with a collaboration with blogger Zanita Morgan for Spring Summer 2013 (in stores July) means that the label is reaching an entirely new market of 20 – 35 year olds.

Zanita edited, styled and shot the collection and will release it to her massive online audience in a series of blog and social media posts.
“We wanted to go in a new direction this season, cater the launch and collateral of the collection to an entirely new market,” says Charlie Brown. “What better way to do that than through our facebook, instagram and twitter accounts – where all these women already are.”

Zanita identified with the ethos of the collection immediately, saying the Charlie Brown woman “exudes the kind of glamour reminiscent of the 90’s supermodel, unafraid to stand out she knows exactly the right risks to take with what she is wearing.”
