Since capturing the 2008 Verge Development Grant for Best New Entrant to Fashion Week, Michelle Yvette hasn’t broken her stride. Her new Auckland showroom combines her love of glamour and couture to create an incredible retail experience. or high tea complete with champagne. Waiters are available to cater for your every need and a photographer to capture the magical moments. “We’ve created these complete packages, almost like a kitset wedding, which no one else does. We have been in this industry long enough to provide our customers with the best.” Michelle is passionate about taking the time to work out the kind of person and event she’s designing for. “Your dress is a projection of your inner self, but at first clients can’t necessarily say what they want. There’ll be something in their head but they can’t get it out. I love it when in the end they say ’oh that’s the dress I was wanting all along!’”
