This range was born out of spending many hours after my mum past away thinking and sometimes laughing, about some of the phrases and sayings that she used over the years.
Many of them weren't particularly suitable for my range - such as 'What are you wearing under that?' and ' What are the arrangements girls?' but it did get me thinking about the things we say and repeat and that often get filed under 'family treasure' or 'urban legend".
I love words and enjoy playing with them in my work. This range is quite different from my previous works that used excerpts from old books, picking out sentences and subjects. These are more thought out and deliberate in their delivery.
